Line It UpTeam Building Activity

Materials:

  • Blindfolds
  • Notecards with numbers 1-25 written on them

Group’s Objective

  • Line up in numerical order

Facilitation

  1. Give each participant a number, instruct them not to share it with anyone.
    • Do not give the participants consecutive numbers. Skip around with little regard to the pattern, for example in a group of 10 you might give 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 14, 17, 18.
    • You should always have a one and the number that represents the number of participants in the activity.
  2. Have each participant put on their blindfold and remind the participants they cannot talk.
  3. Tell everyone that they need to stay blindfolded and without using their voice, they need to get into numerical order.
  4. When it looks like the group is in an ordered line, ask them to do a fist-to-five for how well they feel they are in order. Tell them everyone needs a three or above to uncover the blindfolds.
