The Peace Studies series offered an exploration of Lutheran peacemaking from different angles: a historical example of an individual and his church (with much contemporary relevance) and a hands-on training workshop in peacemaking/ nonviolence.
- Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Lecture—featured Jennifer McBride, a Bonhoeffer Scholar on November 14th, 2011
- Nonviolence Training Workshop—facilitated by Glen Gersmehl, the director of the Lutheran Peace Fellowship on February 24th and 25th, 2012
- Lutheran World Relief in Colombia: Lessons for Building Peace Lecture—facilitated by Lutheran World Relief Colombia county director and noted human rights expert, Zorida Castillo on March 26th, 2012
