Gustavus Reunion WeekendMay 30-June 1, 2025

A Weekend to Remember

Beginning in 2017, we have welcomed back ALL reunion classes (5-year increments) to celebrate the anniversary of their graduation. Reunion Weekend is a chance to relive your college days, reminisce with friends, reconnect with the campus, and remember those classmates who have passed.

Why You'll Love Reunion Weekend

  1. ReliveFeel like a college student all over again as you walk the halls, go to class (without tests!), grab lunch with your pals, and stay up all night in your dorm. We're giving you the run of the place!
  2. ReminisceMemories will bubble to the surface when you take your first step on the Hill. The sounds, sights, and even smells of your favorite spots on campus are a welcome backdrop as you reflect on how far you've come since graduation.
  3. ReconnectWhether or not you've stayed in touch since college, you'll have plenty of time to connect with your pals and probably make some new ones. And we're pretty sure you'll recognize plenty of faculty and staff around to welcome you back!
  4. RememberHonor the lives and memories of classmates who are no longer with us while taking comfort in the fellowship and the support of your Gustavus community. This place and the people who have shared experiences here are special, and we'll help you lift up that legacy.

We know you'll love Reunion Weekend here on the Hill. Don't just take our word for it though. Here's what Reunion Weekend attendees are saying.

When you come away from a class reunion at Gustavus wishing the weekend didn't have to end, you know it was a successful event. We had all wondered how it would work to have ALL reunion classes on campus at the same time; we needn't have worried. Gustavus came through with flying colors! We're already looking forward to the next reunion in five years!
I initially wasn't convinced/didn't really know what to expect of Reunion Weekend given the change of format, but after attending I see so much potential for reunions to be WAY better than they have been in the past.
The high rating of the reunion experience was a result of the camaraderie of students past and present, the ease in transportation around campus, the wonderful food, the well planned activities, and the sense of connection with Gustavus which is still very much alive and well!
I had the time of my life being with my dear friends, but also connecting with other classmates that I rarely if ever spoke to while at school. It was a very friendly, exciting weekend. Truly a Gustie welcome!
I was definitely on board with the new format and activities but I was afraid my classmates would not be but they LOVED it all, so my expectations were exceeded!!
All meals included; engagement with profs, staff, current students, and other alumni classes; numerous events on & off campus; FELT LIKE HOME AGAIN!
I almost didn't go, but am so glad I did. I loved re-connecting with old classmates and meeting new ones. Enjoyed seeing the changes to GAC and I was reminded why I chose Gustavus in the first place.
I can't remember the last weekend I have had that has been quite so fun and care-free. I feel like I spent my entire weekend laughing and smiling and not worrying about a thing other than being with the people I love at the place I love.
