Costs and Inclusions


Cost of the tour is $4,889 per person, based on double occupancy. 

Single room additional fee $687

Cost for land only portion of the tour is $3,666 per person, based on double occupancy.

Cost is based on a set number of travelers and may decrease slightly if actual number of travelers exceeds estimate and increase slighly if actual number of travelers is lower than estimate.

Payment Schedule:

$500 per person (non-refundable) - Due: With Registration
50% of total tour costs - Due: March 31, 2015
Remaining balance - Due: May 31, 2015

Amount paid is % of the total cost of the trip, not the balance owed.
Per person deposit is utilized for tour booking expenses and therefore is non-refundable.

Cancellation Schedule:

$500 per person (non-refundable) - penalty begins September 1, 2014
50% per person, of total tour costs is non-refundable after March 1, 2015
100% per person, of total tour costs is non-refundable after June 5, 2015

Amount penalized is % of the total tour cost, not % of what has already been paid.
Please note that the above payment and cancellation schedule is based on the initial deposit date as
well as subsequent on-time payments. This schedule is subject to change should any payment dates be missed.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and confirmed with MCI Travel.  The date such notification is received by MCI is the cancellation date. 


Gustavus retains the right to cancel the tour on February 1, 2015 if interest and participation levels are not high enough to support the cost of a group tour.


Tour Inclusions

1. Airline transportation provided by scheduled air carrier (subject to change pending space availability at the time of group booking).

2. U.S. Government airline taxes, fees, and estimated fuel surcharge up to $500

3. Transportation within Europe, including airport transfers, by modern deluxe motorcoach or other mode of transportation as listed in the Tour Itinerary.

4. Accommodations in excellent 3- and 4-star hotels chosen for location, reputation, cleanliness, and service. The price is based on double occupancy, all rooms with private facilities.

5. Meals include daily buffet breakfasts, two lunches and seven dinners. Please note that breakfast is not included on day of arrival and dinner is not included on day of departure.

6. Guided excursions, guided by licensed, professional guides as outlined in the day-by-day Tour Itinerary. Guides are also selected based upon experience, referral, knowledge and ability to deal with people.

7. Entrance fees are included to all museums and attractions listed in the day-by-day Tour Itinerary.

8. Tickets for concert in Budapest.

9. A full-time, multi-lingual Tour Manager will be with the group throughout the concert tour.

10. Pre-departure Travel Notes are available to each participant containing useful information about travel preparation, destination information, useful packing and cultural conditioning suggestions.

11. Printed Tour itineraries for each individual listing hotel addresses, telephone and fax numbers.

12. Tips to hotel personnel, restaurant personnel, and city guides are included. Tips to Tour Managers and motorcoach drivers are not included.

13. Flight bag, luggage tags, a souvenir Photo Video and a t-shirt are provided to each participant.

14. Individual insurance coverage is included in all MCI programs. For specific limitations and exclusions, refer to the policy on file at our office.

Tour Exclusions

1. Transportation to and from your home to the airport.

2. Difference between current and actual costs for the airline taxes and the estimated fuel surcharge, if applicable.

3. Tips to Tour Manager(s) and motorcoach driver(s).

4. Drinks at dinners.

5. Airline luggage fees, if applicable (2nd checked bag, over weight/sized equipment).

6. Travel Visa for non-US passport holders.
