All ushers may stay for the service at no cost (a great way for family members to attend for free). Employees should request their free ticket and order additional tickets for the service and the amazing smorgasbord buffet online.
WE BELIEVE Giving Campaign...The 2017 WE BELIEVE Faculty/Staff Giving Campaign is happening from November 2-22. Co-chaired by Michele Koomen (Lind Professor of Education) and Steve Kjellgren '86 (Associate Vice President-Auxiliary Services), our goal is to encourage all employees to support the College. It is all of us for all of Gustavus. Last year, our campus community rallied and generously raised enough funds to sponsor the first year of three WE BELIEVE Heritage Scholarships. Let's rally together again to fund the second year of our scholarships.
Our WE BELIEVE scholarships were generously matched dollar-for-dollar by a member of our Board of Trustees. The Heritage Scholarship Program at Gustavus forms a fundamental core of our new financial aid funding process for students who are academically well prepared, but for whom a Gustavus education would otherwise be financially out of reach. With the match, each award is $6,000 for a student. Let's do it again this year.
Fall Play Tickets Available...Tickets are now available online at gustavustickets.com or by calling 507-933-7590 for the Department of Theatre and Dance production of Our Country's Good by Timberlake Wertenbaker, directed by Amy Seham. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on November 16-18 and at 2 p.m. November 19. Tickets not sold before the event will be placed on sale one hour prior to showtime at the Anderson Theatre box office. Gustavus students and staff are entitled to one free ticket for the production. Other tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and other students.
