Technology Tip

Gustavus Technology Services is pleased to announce a partnership with DUO Security to offer two-factor authentication to all employees. This relationship is part of the ongoing effort to provide enhanced security for Gustavus users and their accounts. A username and password are no longer considered a secure mechanism for authentication. Two-Factor Authentication adds an additional layer of security to your Gustavus account by requiring a supplemental method for authentication such as a mobile device or hardware token. GTS strongly recommends all employees enable two-factor authentication on their Gustavus account to add a layer of protection against data breaches like the most recent one at Equifax.

To learn more about or to enable two-factor authentication, please visit the following page.
https://gustavus.edu/gts/Duo_Two_Factor_Authentication

If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Helpline (helpline@gustavus.edu) or any member of the Technology Services staff.
