Teachers Talking

Monday, October 24, 2011 (Around 3 years ago)

Join us on Thursday, November 3 for Teachers Talking: Research paper deconstruction and gamification. Come hear what happens when rather than assigning a research paper, you allow students to accumulate points throughout the semester by completing small research and writing tasks that could potentially lead to learning about a topic in depth. Discuss the possibilities for applying a similar method to your own classes and assignments. Facilitated by Kyle Chambers (Psychology). Program runs at 11:30 am and again at 12:30 pm. Free lunch at Three Crowns buffet, then meet in the St Peter Room.
