Teachers Talking Writing - WRITI, WRITD, WRITWHAT?: A Discussion of Faculty Expectations

Monday, March 7, 2011 (Around 4 years ago)

Join us on April 26 for Teachers Talking Writing with co-facilitators Jeanne Herman, director of Writing Across the Curriculum, and Becky Fremo, Writing Center Director, for a candid discussion of the WRITI and WRITD criteria. How do they shape our expectations of students in the classroom? What do faculty members expect to accomplish in these courses? How do we understand the language of program requirements? What happens to a writing intensive or writing in the disciplines course after the WRIT proposal is accepted? Program runs at 11:30 a.m. and at 12:30 pm. Free lunch at Three Crowns buffet, then meet in Heritage Room.
