2026 Gustie Dodgeball Showdown

Join CAB for a fun, competitive, and entertaining Gustie Dodgeball Showdown on Thursday, October 8 from 7–9 p.m. in The Blue. 

The Gustie Dodgeball Showdown is a double-elimination style dodgeball tournament, where you and up to seven of your friends will battle against other teams for a chance to play against a team of your favorite faculty and staff and win a variety of prizes from the list below. The double-elimination bracket gameplay will begin promptly at 7 p.m. The championship game will begin at 8:30 p.m. and the winner of that game will play the faculty and staff team at approximately 8:45 p.m.  

We'll have free snacks, free entertainment, and free fun! Anyone is welcome to watch, even if you are not competing.

First Place:

• Gift Cards for Places in St. Peter (Co-Op, River Rock, and more!)

Second Place:

• Gift Cards to the Gustavus Bookmark 

Third Place:

• Gift Cards to Target

And that’s not all! 

An additional prize will be awarded for the team that is best dressed for the 2026 homecoming theme: 80s Throwback. This is the Gustie Choice Award, and the winner is decided by YOU! 

Each student that participates in the Gustie Dodgeball Showdown will receive a voting form upon the conclusion of the event to cast their vote for their favorite costume. The team that receives the most votes will win an Amazon Gift Card and a fun 80s-themed item.
