Facilities

The Gustavus Dining Service is pleased to serve you in many comfortable locations. On the lower level of the campus center is the Courtyard Café, and the upper level features banquet facilities, the Evelyn Young Dining Room, and the Market Place. The STEAMery is located in the Nobel Hall of Science Building. 

Evenlyn Young Dining Room

The Evelyn Young Dining Room is located on the upper level of the North end of the Campus Center Building. The dining room is served by the Gustavus Adolphus Market Place which offers a wide selection of food and beverage choices to the entire Gustavus community.

Market Place

Gustavus Adolphus Market Place defines variety. Select from over twenty daily entrees and side dishes. Or select from items in the Country Garden, Market Deli, Grab & Go, or Convenience areas. Dine in the beautiful and spacious Evelyn Young Dining Room or ask for carry out containers, which are available for all menu selections.

Courtyard Cafe

The Courtyard Café is conveniently located on the lower level of the Jackson Campus Center. Smell the aromas of freshly brewed organic ‘Peace Coffee’, Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso, and Herbal Chai paired with warm, oven fresh gourmet cookies and sweet rolls. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, the conversations friendly and engaging. Step out on the patio of the John’s Family Courtyard and take in tranquility of the bubbling fountain and the beauty that is Gustavus.

Students may use their declining balance meal plan to purchase items in the Courtyard Café, or may use cash, credit card or check.

Banquet Rooms

Three multi-use banquet rooms across from the Evelyn Young Dining Room can open into one large banquet space. Weekdays during the school year the Three Crowns Banquet Room hosts a popular buffet lunch. View this map of banquet rooms available to reserve.

STEAMery

The STEAMery is located in the Nobel Hall of Science Building on the south end by Anderson Theatre. This bright and welcoming cafe offers freshly made breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that are unique to this location. Daily grab n go specials include delicious soups, salads, signature sandwiches, smoothies, pastries and coffee beverages.
