Laurel participated in the HMT summer seminar at the Center for Hellenic Studies in 2013 and served as project leader 2013-14. She co-authored with Leonie Henkes (Leiden University, Holland) an article titled The Multiforms of Iliad 10.306. She graduated with a major in classics and is now working at Securian Financial.
A founding member of the HMT team at Gustavus, Susan graduated with a double major in Classics and Russian Studies. She was an inaugural Flory-Freiert Fellow, spending summer 2014 studying in Europe studying the development of archaeology in the Crimea. After working for FEMA in disaster relief, Susan is serving with the Peace Corps in Moldova, teaching English at a combined primary and secondary school.
Karl participated in the HMT summer seminar at the Center for Hellenic Studies in 2013 and served as project leader 2013-14. He co-presented the HMT project with Laurel Boman at the State Capitol. He graduated with a double major in Classics and Music and is now pursuing an M.Div. at Bethlehem Seminary.
A founding member of the HMT team at Gustavus, Peter put his expertise in computer programing to use in the project. He co-presented the HMT project at the 2014 Celebration of Creative Inquiry, and graduated with a major in Education and a minor in Greek. He is now a social studies teacher for Minnesota Virtual High School in St. Paul.
