Faculty Mentors
Siri C. Erickson, Project Leader
Rev. Erickson holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Carleton College and an M.Div. from Claremont School of Theology, where she focused her studies on methods of theological reflection that integrate scientific knowledge, ecological civilization, and the common good. Rev. Erickson worked as Pastor of Lifelong Learning for nine years in an ELCA congregation and is currently Chaplain of the College at Gustavus.
Scott Bur, Science Faculty Mentor
Dr. Bur is a Professor of Chemistry at Gustavus and former Director of the Nobel Conference. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He teaches courses not only in chemistry but also seminars on science and religion for students from a wide range of majors.
