Dennis Lock, the Director of Football Research and Strategy for the Buffalo Bills will give a talk - Sports Analytics:  An Insider's Perspective on Tuesday, February 18th at 6:30 in Olin 103.  Dennis will answer the questions - What is Sports Analytics?  How can data help an NFL team? The role of statistics and data in professional and college sports has increased rapidly over the last few years.  He will discuss his experiences and perspectives on sports analytics from working in the NFL and studying the subject academically.
