What is it?

Gustavus-L is an automated campus announcement and event list that pulls items from the College Calendar. It is distributed Monday through Saturday, with Sunday's announcements and events appearing on Saturday.

Announcements

To appear in Gustavus-L, an announcement must:

• Be a notice such as:
  • Tickets on sale now for next week's play
  • Intramural sign up for next semester is during the next 12 days
  • Reservations for the fan bus to a game
  • Tryouts for a play
• Be submitted to the College Calendar (using the online submission form)
• Have the Gustavus-L box on the submission form checked
• Be received and approved by the Office of Marketing and Communication, allowing a few days for items to be received, reviewed, and approved

Events

To appear in Gustavus-L, an event must:

• Have a specific time, date, and place
• Be submitted to the College Calendar
• Have the Gustavus-L box on the submission form checked
• Be received and approved by the Office of Marketing and Communication, allowing a few days for items to be received, reviewed, and approved
