- Statement Of Purpose/ Mission
- The Gustavus Men's Volleyball Team is a competitive club program that has a relatively long history on campus. The team is competing in its first official season in the National College Volleyball Federation where it continues to improve each season. The National College Volleyball Federation provides a competitive league for teams in the upper Midwest who want to play in a well-organized league outside of NCAA restrictions and without the expense of being a club team that travels and competes nationwide. We play teams from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Most games are with teams nearby. This minimizes travel costs and unnecessarily long road trips. The purpose of the club is to provide an on-campus opportunity for students to improve their skills in volleyball, transform students into future leaders rooted in the values of dedication, humility, respect, risk-taking, and work ethic.
