French

French majors/minors explore speaking, listening, reading, and writing in an immersive language environment with native French-speaking faculty in the Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures Department (MLLC). You'll study art and literature, discuss politics, colonization, and history, and grow your understanding of French-speaking cultures.

English

English majors/minors study literature and write in multiple genres, including fiction, drama, poetry, film, archival documents, graphic novels, and digital narratives. Explore course examples and careers, such as journalism and writing.

Sociology and Anthropology

Sociology and Anthropology majors/minors explore historic and current issues related to different cultures and analyze the interactions of people and societies. You learn how to convey ideas effectively, develop analytical skills, and gain experience with research methods to recognize trends and produce social statistics. Pre-Law

Many majors support legal fields, including (but not limited to) Political Science, History, and Psychology. Courses cultivate problem-solving proficiency, critical reading, articulate writing, and effective oral communication. Computer Science

Computer Science majors/minors think analytically and logically, design creative and robust solutions, develop teamwork, and explore new technologies. They solve problems using multiple programming languages and development platforms, preparing for careers in data, analysis, actuarial science, and master's degrees in computer science (MCS).
