Torin Dougherty ’16Alumni and Staff
I am a Solution Architect and Scrum Master for the Healthcare Business Group, Supply Chain Analytics (SCA) team. As a hybrid business & technology team, we take an implementation first approach to applying predictive and prescriptive analytics across the Healthcare value chain.
We’re a smaller team, but we punch above our weight because we passionately believe in our vision of bringing advanced analytics to the forefront…We aspire to be the trailblazers that carve the path for critical analytics adoption across global Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations.
As the Supply Chain Analytics leader, my responsibilities include:
-Developing technology solutions around the strategic priorities of Healthcare Business Group. From value stream architecture to global fulfillment strategy, I strive to develop a deep understanding of the Healthcare business model and its constituents. Collaborating with Lean Value Stream, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing leaders, I formulate how our technical capabilities can be aligned to deliver tangible business results.
-Articulating the SCA vision and strategic roadmap to Healthcare Leadership. I set and communicate our goals (OKRs), budget needs, and application management strategy to our Analytics Director and Operations VP. I also provide infrastructure and security recommendations as an advocate for the Healthcare Developer/Analyst community.
-Translating the team vision into design requirements and product blueprints. As Scrum Master, I champion the Agile framework as an effective way to organize and prioritize the SCA team’s work. I also contribute directly to development as a Data Analyst, operating cross functionally across systems, business segments, and programming languages. SAP APO, SAP ECC, Snowflake, Palantir, Power BI, R, and SQL are what I’m most familiar with.
