For over twenty years I worked as a Marketing and Public Relations professional in positions in government, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors. Formerly a business owner, I have experience in building a business from the ground up and maintaining a positive presence in the community. Creative writing is a passion of mine and I have enjoyed writing articles as a freelancer for various regional magazines as well as crafting my own work. I've been published in Half and One online literary journal and The Motherly Collective. When I'm not working or writing, I'm spending time with family and friends, shuttling children to activities, or volunteering as a reader for the Mankato Youth Place and as a Buzz Blog editor and Creative Nonfiction reader for The Good Life Review.
