Inside Gustavus December 8, 2016 | Volume 49, Number 14
President Cabinet Summary
1. Members approved the Facilities and Administrative Cost Distribution Policy as submitted.
2. Provost Brenda Kelly shared the proposed provost office organizational structure for FY ’18 and indicated that she will also share this information at the December 15 faculty meeting. The Curriculum Committee will also be giving a report on its progress of the general education curriculum reform at the faculty meeting.
3. Members approved the hiring of three Dining Service positions: Executive Chef (30 hours/40 weeks), Production Manager (full-time), and Market Place Supervisor (full-time). The current position of Executive Chef and Production Manager is being replaced with two separate positions as a part of a smooth transition toward a retirement. Given the reduced hours of the Executive Chef, the incremental cost to the College will be minimal.
