Faculty or staff with limited or no access to other College resources will receive priority (e.g. adjunct faculty, especially in first year). Grant amounts will vary based on the number of applications but will likely range from $200-$400.
The deadline for applications is midnight on March 6, 2016. Applicants may request funding for expenses incurred between June 1, 2015 and May 31, 2016. Calling all fiber artists of any kind...knitting, crocheting, weaving, spinning, tatting, felting, etc. Would you be willing to share with a new generation of fiber artist some of your wisdom? I would like to compile a list of people who are willing to have one-on-one conversations with students from my IEX class (Social and Art Knitting). You do not have to be an expert or an interest in teaching as the goal is to have students explore the communal and spiritual aspects of fiber arts. If interested, please fill out the survey If you have questions or ideas to share, please email or call S. Brookhart Shields at x7330.
