Funding Opps

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations' weekly program or funding opportunity highlight:

  • Program Incentive Policy for Faculty and Program Directors

Gustavus created a Program Incentive Policy to encourage faculty and program directors to seek external funding by providing them with additional support. Its purpose is to provide incentives to those individuals who have helped generate indirect costs (facilities and administrative costs) for the College. Faculty receive 25% of the recovered indirect cost amount. Funds can be used to enhance teaching, research and scholarship, or program. More information regarding this policy is available online.

For more information on grants or proposal preparation, contact Bob Weisenfeld in the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (x7049 or bweis@gustavus.edu).

Plugs

Seeking Rental...I am a Gustavus employee on a visiting assistantship for next year. I am looking to rent an apartment (1 or 2 br) or a small duplex, preferably close to campus. I am clean, quiet, and I spend most of my time in the office. I would like to move-in during the 2nd half of June. If you have or know of a place, please contact Mohammad Abu Baker (Biology) at mabubake@gustavus.edu.

For Rent...Looking for a quiet place to live? We have several one bedroom apartments for rent at Parkview Manor. Within walking distance of Gustavus. Rent based on 30% of income (Maximum rent of $378-478). Affordable, even for ‘over income’ individuals). All utilities except cable television and phone included. Contact Shannon Lloyd at (507) 931-2236 or stpeterhra4@hickorytech.net for more information.

"Plugs" is maintained as a forum by which members of the Gustavus community may offer goods and/or services to others in the community, or seek the same from them. It is not meant to accommodate ads or announcements from area businesses such as real estate agents or retailers, although from time to time such announcements may be published when deemed to be of particular interest to the community.
