ABSTRACT:
The Autograph Book and Certificates of C.G. Schulz collection contains one of Schulz’s autograph books and five certificates signed by governors of Minnesota (John A. Johnson, Adolph O. Eberhart, Winield S. Hammond, J.A.O. Preus) proclaiming him Superintendent of Public Instruction.  Schulz attended Gustavus Adolphus College in the late 1800s.  The autograph book consists of messages from friends Schulz made throughout his career including J.P. Uhler.  His name was originally spelled, Schuls, and was changed to Schulz.
