ABSTRACT:
The Ruth Martinson collection consists of class agent materials, letters from former students, and information about the construction of Lund Center on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minnesota.  Martinson graduated in the class of 1923.  She served as a Class Agent on behalf of the Alumni Office during the 1980s.  Documents in this collection result from her role as class agent.  Some correspondence includes death notices of her fellow alumni along with general information.  Materials from the Alumni Office pertain to her role as a college booster.  Some documents indicate how much money various classes donated to Gustavus.
