Wireless Network Management

If you have ever joined a wireless network and you would prefer not to join that network again, there are ways to remove that wireless network from your saved locations so your device doesn't automatically join the network again.

Removing a saved network

Windows 7

  1. Start Button
  2. Control Panel
  3. Network Sharing Center
  4. Manage Wireless Networks
  5. Highlight the network and click Remove

Windows 10

  1. Click the Network icon in the lower right corner of the screen
  2. Right-click the network you would like to forget
  3. Click Forget

Mac OSX

  1. System Preferences
  2. Network
  3. Highlight the wifi connection on the left
  4. Click Advanced on the right hand side
  5. Find the desired network to remove and click on it.
  6. Click the (-) symbol to remove it from your Preferred Networks list.

iOS

  1. Settings
  2. Wifi Settings
  3. Click on blue "i" with the circle around it on the desired network you want to remove
  4. Click Forget this Network
