Podcast download
Some classes at Gustavus now offer the availability of a podcast for certain
lectures. They are doing this by using podcast capture, created by Apple.
These podcasts are stored at http://podcast.gac.edu
If your class does not show up on this page, click on groups in the top right corner.
To download the podcast:
(you may have to go to the bottom of the page and click to be directed to the second page of results)
Once you have selected your class, you will be prompted for a username and password.
Use your Gustavus user id and password for this.
Once logged on, the title of the class will be displayed at the top of the page.
This page is the class Wiki. It will show you recent changes that have been made, including recent podcasts that have been posted. In the top right-hand corner, follow the link that says blog.
On the blog page, there is a small gray box with options such as filter by date. At the bottom of this box, there is a link that says Subscribe in iTunes
Your iTunes should pop up, and when it does, it will prompt you for user id and password. This is once again asking you for Gustavus user id and password.
You should now be subscribed to the podcast. If you want, you can click on "Settings" within podcasts (at the bottom of the window when selected) and assign how often it checks for updates.
Make sure the podcast gets downloaded, if it hasn't been downloaded, it will have a "Get" option next to it, and you may click that.
Once downloaded, sync your iPod, and enjoy studying!!
