- Firefox:
- C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Firefox
- Copy profile from C:\Users\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles use the Date Modified to help, if there is more than one. Copy into the same location on the new machine.
- You will need to edit the C:\Users\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles.ini file path line to reflex the change Path=Profiles/<profilename>.default.
- Thunderbird:
- C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird
- If more than one profile exists - check the dates for help in determining which is being used.
- After copying the profile into this location you will have to edit the profiles.ini file. This is the file that tells Thunderbird which profile to use. Change the path= line to reflect the name of the profile you moved.
