The Hillstrom Museum of Art

COVID UPDATE: there currently are no COVID-related visitation restrictions in place for the Hillstrom Museum of Art (neither for on-campus community members nor for the general public). Should restrictions be put in place again, they will be described on this website.

The Hillstrom Museum of Art is the art museum of Gustavus Adolphus College, located in St. Peter, Minnesota.

The Hillstrom Museum of Art has spacious galleries, and during the academic year has an active schedule of temporary exhibitions of national, international, and regional artwork, art from the permanent collection, and also exhibits of student and faculty artwork.

During operating hours, the Hillstrom Museum of Art is staffed by museum guards. For most exhibitions, brochures are available free of charge. There is no admission fee for exhibits and related programming and events. The Museum is generally closed when class is not in session. This includes summer and semester breaks.
