Student Employee (Office Operations focus)

 - Office Reception and Customer Service:  Answer phone, great visitors, take messages, schedule appointments, answer questions, refer to resources, sort mail, complete tasks on Fusion; Interact with students, alumni, prospective students and families, faculty, staff, employers, and community members 

- Assist in maintaining an efficient and effective office environment: monitor all forms/handouts and proactively plan ordering in advance; Assist in upkeep of the office space as a whole; Assist with budget related items

 - Update and maintain information on Handshake, including job and internship postings

 - Create and maintain marketing materials as asked by staff: including designing, printing, and publishing of posters and digital slides for events and programs. 

- Assist in event planning and promotion as asked by staff

 - Assistance with updating Career Development website

 - Special Projects work as directed by staff 

- Other tasks as assigned by staff


Qualifications: 

 - Creativity/marketing/design experience

 - Customer Service experience 

- Oral and written communication skills 

- Ability to work on a team and individually 

- Able to work one-on-one with a variety of students and remain friendly, approachable, and professional 

- Possesses qualities such as: attention to detail, independent worker, organized, responsible, professional

MUST HAVE FEDERAL, STATE OR INSTITUTIONAL WORK STUDY
