Primary Responsibilities:

·         Convert raw data files downloaded from field instrumentation (weather stations and stream flow gauges) as well as hydrochemical analyses into Excel format and compile in master databases for each field station

·         Develop, document, and perform appropriate procedures for performing basic quality assurance/quality control of data, including identifying unusual outliers, data gaps, artificial shifts, and other potentially spurious data issues

·         Perform basic statistical analyses, including identifying monthly maximum, minimum, mean and standard deviations for each data set

·         Develop and maintain a master “data status” spreadsheet that provides rapid visual information about the availability (or lack of) data for each field instrument across the life of the project (2012 – current)

·         Work with Professor La Frenierre and University of Minnesota collaborators (faculty and graduate students) to resolve any data management issues that occur

Prerequisites
