GACAC Annual Business Meeting
 Saturday, April 24, 2021 - Alumni Hall 12:30 p.m.

The health and well-being of the broader community is at the forefront of all our minds as we make the adjustments necessary to do our part to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
 
As such, we have postponed the previously scheduled gathering of the Gustavus Association of Congregations to April 24, 2021. 
 
To maintain the continuity of leadership, the governance documents of the College and the Gustavus Association of Congregations give permission to the respective boards you have elected to make appointment of any vacant leadership positions until the next meeting of the Association. On April 24, 2021 all appointed and vacant leadership positions will be voted upon by the assembly gathered. 
 
During times of great uncertainty, the relationships that hold and sustain us become even more of a source of gratitude and comfort. The foundation of faith in Jesus Christ that motivates our life and mission is even more meaningful to us. We hope it is a source of deep encouragement for you to know that you are connected to a wider community that holds you in prayer and cares about you. The acts of ministry and spiritual support you offer your faith community make a positive impact and will help your community come out of this with an increased sense of resiliency. 
 
We are all in this together. We are proud of you and grateful to be members of the same Lutheran family and partners in ministry. Not only are we confident that together we will get through the challenge now before us, we believe that on the other side of it we will find our bonds of community to be even stronger!
