Grady St. DennisGrady St. Dennis, Church Relations Coordinator

Rev. Dr. St. Dennis is Associate Vice President of Mission and Executive Chaplain in the Office of the Chaplains and Church Relations. He holds a B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College; an M.Div. from Luther Seminary; and a D.Min in Transformational Leadership from Boston University. As Associate Vice President of Mission, he manages the college’s relationship with GACAC and builds relationships with its pastors, lay leaders, and youth through a host of programs and activities.

 

Scott BurScott Bur, Science Faculty Coordinator

Dr. Bur is Professor of Chemistry at Gustavus and former Director of the Nobel Conference. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He teaches courses not only in chemistry but also seminars on science and religion for students from a wide range of majors. 

 

Marcia BungeMarcia Bunge, Theology Faculty Coordinator 

Dr. Bunge is Professor of Religion and the Bernhardson Distinguished Chair of Lutheran Studies at Gustavus. She holds a B.A. from St. Olaf College and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. She has published five books and many articles on a variety of theological subjects and has taught courses in theology and ethics at Luther Seminary, Luther College, Christ College (the Honors College of Valparaiso University), and Gustavus.

 

Chad WinterfeldtChad Winterfeldt, Worship Leader

Dr. Winterfeldt is the Cantor of Christ Chapel at Gustavus. He holds a B.M. from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, a M.M. from Yale University, and a D.M.A. from the University of Nebraska (Lincoln). As Cantor, he collaboratively plans and leads worship, stewards the musical gifts of the campus community, and teaches organ and handbells.

Jodi Maas, Director

Jodi Maas serves as the Assistant Director of Church Relations and Assistant to the Chaplains. She lives in Mapleton with her two children, Tyler and Lauren. She is an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and is on the Word and Sacrament commission. She also serves on the Board for the Holiday Sharing Tree in Mankato and on the Triple A foundation for Maple River school.
