At the Academy, we believe that we need BOTH faith and science to address the ethical issues of our time.
Students who attend the Gustavus Academy for Faith, Science, and Ethics explore the intersection of faith and science while diving into the ethical issues that define our decades. All Academy programs provide opportunities for students to discover how scientists and people of faith are working together to address some of the world’s most pressing problems.

Academy Fellows:
- Interact with Gustavus students and experts in science and theology.
- Are challenged academically, spiritually, and ethically and clarify their sense of purpose.
- Develop leadership skills.
- Connect with like-minded and outstanding students from across the church.
- Become a stronger college applicant by participating in a selective program designed for future leaders.
- Have the chance to learn from Nobel laureates during the Nobel Conference in October.
Students who participate in the Gustavus Academy for Faith, Science, and Ethics and attend Gustavus Adolphus College will receive a $500 annually renewable tuition scholarship.
