Lyz will be talking with students interested in writing or editing careers. Lyz is the Managing Editor of the Rumpus. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Columbia Journalism Review and others. Her book The Death of the Midwestern Church is forthcoming from Indiana University Press and Belabored: Tales of Myth, Medicine, and Motherhood is forthcoming from Norton. She received her MFA in creative writing from Lesley University in 2010.
