Womxn of Color SummitApril 15, 2023 at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Perseverance: Her Journey - an initiative created and hosted by the Center For Inclusive Excellence at Gustavus Adolphus College. The purpose of this event is to support young women and trans-feminine people of color who attend the various post-secondary education institutions throughout Minnesota.  The Summit aims to strengthen and uplift women and trans-identities of color, while creating an opportunity to find affinity with one another, embrace their intersecting identities, and foster an environment to discuss current issues on campus and nationwide.

The 'X' denotes an identity that is not defined by cultural norms, implying that all women are women in whichever way they want to identify, regardless of how societal norms define women.
