Description

Through keynote addresses, a series of workshops, and an interactive action piece, Conference participants will explore the importance and necessity of collective action. We are excited to announce that our keynote speakers are Winona LaDuke; a native environmental activist from the White Earth Reservation in Minnesota and Nekima Levy-Pounds; 2017 mayoral candidate for Minneapolis. Our Highlighted workshop features Naomi Natale; a social arts activist who created and implemented the "One Million Bones eproject in Washington D.C. to protest international genocide. We encourage you to attend the conference and join us in examining the power of grassroots movements and how we can progress as a society that values justice, peace, and sustainability for all.
