Public lecture by Paul D. Hanson, Florence Corliss Lamont Research Professor of Divinity at Harvard University. A Gustavus alumnus (class of 1961), Professor Hanson is a distinguished biblical scholar who has written extensively on prophecy, apocalyptic literature, and biblical theology. He will present research for his current book project examinging the interplay between religion and politics, with an emphasis on American faith communities rooted in biblical tradition.
