Sunday Worship Community: Lent (A Call to Justice)March 13, 2022 at 6:30–7:30 p.m.
This Sunday, we continue our lenten series: A call to Justice. During the season of Lent, we will be exploring different issues of injustice. This week we're focusing on accessbility and health care access. Preaching Intern Anna Stednitz '24 will be sharing the message.
We invite the community to take a plastic pledge to reduce their plastic consumption during the season of Lent. You can take the pledge here! Pledgees will be entered into a drawing to win some fun eco-friendly products.
A home away from home, the Sunday Worship Community is a group where you can feel welcome whoever you are, wherever you are, and however you are. We interpret liturgy (an ancient order of worship) in new ways and find the divine in a wide variety of music. Communion happens every Sunday and there are no exceptions to who is invited at the table. We're big on community and believe that worship happens best when we know each other. Visitors, doubters, believers, questioners-- there is room for all of us.
Worship includes time for reflection and connection through small groups.
