Announcement: Student Parking Permits - Registration Required

Online permit registration is available June 24 to August 18 at

gustavus.edu/safety

2019-2020 Parking Permits are $280 for the academic year. 

Students will need their email user name and password, along with the vehicle license plate, make, and color in order to complete the online form.   

Permit's will be sent to your campus mailbox the week of August 19.  

If you miss the online registration window, registration will be available in the Campus Safety office August 26 and continues throughout the academic year, 24 hours a day. Note that any vehicle not displaying a new valid parking permit will be cited beginning 7 a.m. on the first day of class, Tuesday, September 3.  

Students are responsible for knowing the campus parking and traffic regulations at https://gustavus.edu/safety/policies/traffic.php.

Permits are non-transferable and must be affixed to the passenger side rear bumper of vehicle. During the school year, temporary permits are available for short-term use of alternate vehicles at no charge if you have a purchased a permit (limit of 2 weeks), as are replacement stickers ($10) for new vehicles (please remove the original sticker to return to the Campus Safety office before changing vehicles). Temporary parking permits are available for those students who may have a short term vehicle, and are not purchasing a parking permit for the academic year, at a cost of $5 per weekday the car will be on campus. Visitor parking is closed to students and employees at all times (24/7/365).

During the academic year, always register your vehicle in the Campus Safety office and display a valid parking permit before parking.
