Relay For Life of Gustavus Adolphus CollegeApr 30, 2011 at 6 p.m. to May 1, 2011 at 7 a.m.

Colleges Against Cancer will host the American Cancer Society's signature fundraiser, Relay For Life on April 30. The event will kickoff at 7 pm honoring all those who have survived cancer followed by an opening survivor lap. The ceremony will include stories from Gusties who have survived cancer. At 9:30 pm we will remember those we have lost to the disease through the lighting of luminary bags. Each luminary bag will display the name of a cancer survivor or friend or family member lost to the disease, luminaries can be purchased for $10 from any Relay participant or online at www.relayforlife.org/gustavusadolphus. The event will conclude at 6:30 am on May 1st with the announcement of the fundraising total. In addition to walking the track, participants will enjoy live music, pizza, games, and prizes.
