Physics Lecture - From SPS to Quantitative Sustainability AssessmentNovember 18, 2021 at 7:30–8:30 p.m.

Dr. Mikaela Algren, Postdoctoral Scholar in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Northwestern University, will present a talk on Thursday, November 18, at 7:30 pm in Olin 220. The title of her talk is “From SPS to Quantitative Sustainability Assessment” and she promises to talk a bit about her work in grad school and as a post doc using quantitative sustainability tools like materials flow analysis (MFA), life cycle assessment (LCA), techno-economic assessment (TEA), and social LCA (S-LCA).  She also plans to talk about the transition from physics at GAC to graduate school in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Hydrology.
