Drawn from the pages of Minnesota Conservation Volunteer magazine--published by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources since 1940--Our Neck of the Woods evokes a strong sense of place and suggests that the outdoor experiences we share with others come to mean the most to us. Daniel J. Phillippon, editor of Minnesota Conservation Volunteer and Professor of English at the University of Minnesota, will share the rich observations and spirited tales (from notable writers like Bill Holm) that beckon Minnesotans to work, play, and explore in the natural places close to our homes and hearts.
