Description

"Modern slavery. eIt sounds like a paradox. Hasn't humanity progressed? Didn't we leave slavery dead on the battlefields of the American Civil War? Didn't social reformers like Lincoln and Wilberforce legislate against such cruelty over a hundred years ago? So we thought, but with over 27 million enslaved people across the world, human trafficking is still the battlefront of the century.

On Sunday, March 25th at 7:00pm come to Alumni Hall to watch the documentary Nefarious Merchant of Souls. Nefarious, is a hard-hitting documentary that has won numerous awards for its exposure of the disturbing trends in modern sex slavery. From the very first scene, Nefarious ushers you into the nightmare of sex slavery that hundreds of thousands experience daily. You'll see where slaves are sold, where they work, and are confined. You'll hear first-hand interviews with real victims and traffickers, along with expert analysis from international humanitarian leaders. You can view a trailer for the film at: http://nefariousdocumentary.com/

The documentary screening is free to the public, and will be hosted by Fellowship of Christian Athletes in collaboration with Exodus Cry, a national prayer movement to eliminate slavery. Exodus Cry is the organization that produced the Nefarious documentary. Please come to show your support for the liberation of these victims of slavery.
