The on-campus Colloquim Series events are open for anyone to attend!

For the scholarly community of music majors, listening is not a passive process. It is an art that requires acute aural skill development and substantial knowledge of the art form. The Colloquium Series is offered by the Music Department as a scholars' forum for the examination of the various aspects of this essential element in the music major's musicianship. Faculty, guest artists, visiting scholars, or students will address a variety of topics, most often in a pre-concert format that will enhance the listening experience of a cited performance. The greater Saint Peter community is also invited to attend.
