Exhibitions of digital photography by Gustavus faculty member Priscilla Briggs and by a group of Native American artists, in the exhibitions Fortune: Photos of China by Priscilla Briggs, and Migrations: New Directions in Native American Art, both on view from February 16 through April 19, with an opening reception Monday, February 16, 7 to 9 p.m. In conjunction with the Migrations exhibition, the Museum will present a lecture by prominent Native American artist Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, one of the jurors for the exhibit, titled "A Survey of Contemporary American Indian Art. eThe lecture will be at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2009, in Wallenberg Auditorium, Nobel Hall of Science, on the College campus, and is presented with support from the College Lecture Series, the Gender, Women's and Sexuality Studies Program, the Department of Art and Art History, and the Ethel and Edgar Johnson Endowment for the Arts.

Migrations is presented with support from the Diversity Center of Gustavus Adolphus College.

The Museum's regular hours are weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and weekends, 1 to 5 p.m.; the Museum is generally closed when students are on break.
