The MAYDAY! Peace Conference is on Wednesday, April 29 will focus on the role of student activism in pushing for peace. The day will feature a keynote address Engage in the Change: Mobilizing a Generation to Protest by Jaclyn Corin a survivor of the Parkland shooting and co-founder of March for Our Lives, a Take Action Fair on Eckman Mall, lunch featuring the presentation Kent, Parkland, and the History of Social-Justice Student Activism in the United States by history professor Greg Kaster providing a history of student activism, sponsored by the Friends of the Library - Gustavus Library Associates, and an afternoon panel discussion called What's Next? - Resilience, Passion, Motivation.
