Lopez Reading of "The Silencing"May 19, 2004 at 7–8 p.m.

M. Maria López will present her senior project with a staged reading of her play, titled "The Silencing." This play explores the lives of Frida Kahlo (1907-1954), a Mexican painter/activist; Valadia Snow (1903-1956), a Black jazz musician; and Sor Juana Inès de la Cruz (1648?-1694), a Mexican nun, playwright, and poet.
