Description
The Leonid meteor shower is predicted to peak around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The shower is the result of the Earth passing through the tail of comet Tempel-Tuttle and could produce as many as 500 meteors per hour. The Olin Observatory will be open from 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. for viewing, but any dark location will suffice.
