Bet Your Bottom Dollar:
Expanding the Concept of Alternatives in a Changing Food World
In today's economy, where rapidly changing food options and movements are the order of the day, and where food access and food security are items of serious concern, it seems imperative that we not limit our thinking to "organic or conventional?" This talk explores "value stores" such as the Dollar Store, as sites that challenge how we define terms like "alternative" and "sustainable."
