Description
As part of its educational mission, the E. Terry Skone Investment Club invites faculty and staff to informal outreach events over J-Term. Students will offer two interactive sessions about market fundamentals, with small group discussions.
Events will be held from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15 and from 11:30-12:30 p.m. on Thursday January 16, both at the Melva Lind Interpretive Center. Come when you can and leave when you must. Refreshments will be served.
Topics will include:
- What is the “market” and how do I invest there?
- What’s a “bear” market and a “bull” market and why do they matter?
- What makes a good mix of investments and how do I choose
