Description

Come join the Multifaith Leadership Council for an interfaith discussion over a free lunch!

We will meet between the Campus Center and Uhler, beside the Sukkah.

A Sukkah is a three-sided structure that is put up to commemorate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot which this year runs from Sept 20-27. Sukkot is a harvest holiday that connects the Jewish people with the natural environment. Many people from different religious or non-religious backgrounds or origins have a spiritual connection with nature. One of these people is Sabrina Mercedes, a Mexica, Mestiza, Aztec woman, who is coming to speak about her Native American connection to nature.

Come learn more about other cultures/religions/spiritualities and how they connect to nature as well as share your own!!
